Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using the Matixo mobile application ("App", "Game", "Service") operated by Amsunaris ("we", "us", "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you ("User", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App. If the User is a child, a parent or legal guardian ("Parent") must review and agree to these Terms on the child's behalf before allowing the child to use the App.

1. Overview of the App

Matixo is an educational math game designed for children aged 5 years and older. The App offers various interactive math game modes (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division exercises) at multiple difficulty levels. Users can create hero profiles, earn virtual coins through gameplay, customize their in-game character with virtual items, and track high scores — all within a safe, offline-first environment.

2. Eligibility

The App is designed for use by children aged 5 and older. Children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) should use the App only under parental supervision. By allowing a child to use the App, you represent that you are a parent or legal guardian and that you consent to the child's use of the App in accordance with these Terms.

3. User Accounts and Hero Profiles

  • The App allows the creation of up to eight (8) hero profiles on a single device.
  • Hero profiles are stored locally on the device only and are not transmitted to our servers or any third party.
  • Each hero profile includes a name, age, selected character, language preference, difficulty level, math operation preferences, virtual coins balance, owned and equipped virtual items, and high score records.
  • We do not require or collect email addresses, phone numbers, physical addresses, or any other personal contact information.
  • You are responsible for managing and backing up your device. If the App is uninstalled or the device data is erased, hero profiles and progress will be permanently lost.

4. Virtual Currency and In-App Store

  • The App features a virtual currency ("Coins") that can be earned exclusively through gameplay.
  • Coins can be used to purchase virtual cosmetic items (clothing, accessories) for in-game character customization within the App's built-in store.
  • Coins have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged, transferred, refunded, or redeemed for real currency, goods, or services.
  • There are no real-money in-app purchases in the App. All virtual items are obtainable solely through gameplay.
  • We reserve the right to modify the virtual economy, item pricing, or available items at any time without prior notice.

5. Advertisements

  • The App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising networks, including but not limited to Google AdMob.
  • Advertisements are served in compliance with applicable children's advertising regulations, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.
  • When ads are shown to child users, they will be limited to child-directed, age-appropriate content only. Personalized advertising is disabled for child users.
  • Third-party ad networks may collect limited, non-personal technical data (e.g., device type, operating system version, ad interaction data) as permitted under applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content in the App — including but not limited to graphics, characters, animations, sound effects, music, game design, code, and text — is the property of Amsunaris or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App or any part of its content without our prior written consent.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App, its systems, or networks.
  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App.
  • Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices, labels, or markings on the App.
  • Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, etc.) to interact with the App.
  • Distribute, sublicense, or make the App available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time unless expressly permitted.

8. Updates and Changes

  • We may from time to time issue updates, patches, or new versions of the App. Some updates may be mandatory and may be applied automatically.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (or any part thereof) at any time, with or without notice.
  • We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Firebase Analytics (by Google) — for collecting anonymous usage analytics to improve the App. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Google AdMob (by Google) — for displaying advertisements. See Google AdMob's policies. Ads served to children comply with COPPA and other applicable children's privacy regulations.

These third-party services have their own terms of service and privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
  • Any defects or errors in the App will be corrected.
  • The App will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
  • The results obtained from the use of the App will be accurate or reliable.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AMSUNARIS, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App.
  • Any conduct or content of any third party within the App.
  • Any content obtained from the App.
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your data or content.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Amsunaris and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt arising from:

  • Your use of and access to the App.
  • Your violation of any provision of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

16. Children's Privacy Compliance

This App is designed for use by children and complies with:

  • COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act) — United States
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) — European Union, with special protections for children under Article 8
  • Google Play Families Program policies

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. For detailed information on data handling, please see our Privacy Policy.
